Author Guidelines
The International Society that Learn Journal (IStLJ) welcomes original and scholarly submissions in the fields of Educational Sciences, Social Work, and Sociology. All submitted manuscripts are first subject to an editorial screening. Manuscripts deemed appropriate for the journal’s aims and scope are then forwarded to a double-blind peer review process.
General Principles

Submissions must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal.

All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work and must approve the final version and authorship order.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party material, including photographs, documents, instruments, scales, or datasets.

Studies involving human participants must have received ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee, in accordance with the legal requirements of the country in which the research was conducted. If ethics approval is not required, this must be clearly stated with justification.

All manuscripts must follow the APA Publication Manual (7th edition).

DOI information should be included whenever available.

Consistency between in-text citations and reference list entries is mandatory.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
If artificial intelligence tools were used at any stage of manuscript preparation, this must be disclosed in the Acknowledgements section or under a separate heading titled “Use of Artificial Intelligence.” AI tools may not be listed as authors.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements:
- This submission has been prepared in accordance with the journal’s Manuscript Template.
(Formal formatting revisions may be requested after acceptance.)
- A Highlights / Key Findings file has been uploaded as a supplementary document.
- The similarity index is below 20%.
(Similarity checks are conducted by the journal.)
- This submission complies with all formatting and content requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness, and in-text citations correspond to the reference list.
- All tables and figures are properly numbered and labeled.
- All photographs, datasets, and supplementary materials submitted with this manuscript have the necessary permissions for publication, which can be provided upon request.

Upon acceptance and assignment of a manuscript to an issue, authors agree that the copyright of the work is transferred to the International Society that Learn Journal. Authors are required to sign and upload the journal’s Copyright Transfer Agreement during the submission process.
As the copyright holder, the journal publishes all articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) open access license. Under this license, third parties may copy, share, adapt, and use the work for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate academic attribution is given.
To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility, all published articles are archived on the journal’s own servers and through CLOCKSS and LOCKSS digital archiving systems.
